I don't think they liked being so wet all summer. These leaves never got colorful, they just shriveled up, turned brown and are now falling. I expect the incoming windy rainstorm will take a bunch more down. Who knows what we will see for colors in a couple of weeks but this isn't encouraging...... 1

Have lots of maples on my property and they’re all brown and shriveled and falling into the pool. It’s a nightmare trying to keep up with them in the pool. Going to be closing the pool in the next few days because of this. BuffaloWeather I have no idea how your pools so warm lol! Mine is 65 degrees but does get quite a bit of shade during the day from the trees.

Yep same here, one of my maples is completely bare. Kinda sad as it normally turns a vibrant red in the fall.

This map is terrible as per usual and lake George is definitely changing even though this shows it isn't. I don't know why these irk me so much lol.
TugHillMatt
Any southerly component at all sizzles Syracuse. The wind took a SEly turn at midnight and the temp jumped up 4 degrees. 74 freakin degrees (even went up to 75). If you like cold weather, never move somewhere that has a mountain to the south.
