The Upton forecast zones have experienced a record number of 10”+rainfall months since 2003. Three of these months set records for all-time  rainfall extremes. August 2014 featured the 1000 year rainfall event at Islip. Several stations in  August 2011 and October 2005 exceeded 20” of rain.
