These are shweeet images!

Are these in house... I found goes 16 web site but I haven't taken the moment yet to ferret through that site.

Thanks Tip - the direct link is here where you can save the images as an animated GIF. It's from the mesoscale goes16 sector, band 2, 1 minute time interval. The website is from CIRA/RAMMB in Ft. Collins where they have lots of good satellite stuff.

As we wait for recon, I think it'll be important to see how much tighter the wind field has become and how strong the inner core is. Remember that in prior recon runs the strongest FL winds were well to the SE of the center. Really need those winds being close to the center.

You’ve been great. Unless I missed it.. what is your track and also wind forecast?

Wiz will have white out rains with 40-50+ winds. More exciting than 60+ winds IMO.

The weenie in me would take option 1 all day. Far more impactful to have the flood and the wind, though I won't have power for a week lol.

Thanks. I'm still think landfall between New Haven and Westerly. Last night I said Old Saybrook for the precise location. For inland I'd probably put peak gusts between 45-55 mph.

Ugh... those of us contending the eastward trend on the models... it's not like we thought it was going to go east of Naragansett Bay... we just contend it wasn't going to make landfall in western CT or NYC... jesus... sometimes the made up narratives are fascinating... like the "conflict" is required part of the discussion lol...
