mattie g
Woke up at about 3:00 and saw the light to moderate rain on radar. Went back to bed and woke up at 6:30 to absolutely pissing down rain. The water is rushing down the street and my uphill side yard is an inch or two deep. Radar estimate is 1.27" in the last 12 hours; 0.83" in the last 3 hours. Echoes have enhanced over Burke and it looks like the train is setting up. Wish I could say I'm excited for it, but I really don't need any more rain. And I really need to get a new gauge. I’m not as surprised that we’re going to have another 7-10 days of highs in the 80s to low 90s. I am pretty amazed that we might go 2 straight weeks with dew points in the 70s! That’s pretty unusual this late in summer I’d wager.
