Stormfly
It's up there, a bit hotter than yesterday but humidity is lower so it's a wash. Was throwing the frisbee with the pup a bit ago and it's hot, really hot in the direct sun. This is the only place that can literally waste this kind of sultry mess and go to fall with 40DPs with nary a shower! In the Midwest those swings tend to rearrange yards and patios, sometimes remodel the garage too!

I'm stepping up as an assistant coach this year and am just dreading that tonight.

Eskimo Joe
102 at DMW at 5:30 pm...wow. FWIW, it's 99 at New Windsor 6 miles down the road in the shade so I think that's a legit reading.
wxdude64
Got scrapped by a storm here at 3 pm, rained for about 5-8 minutes, about 0.05 in gauge it appears. First measurable here since 7/18, that will be 26 days......

GramaxRefugee
Low of 76 this morning is my highest start point this summer. If we don't get some clouds, I predict we'll hit 95, (which would be my highest temp this summer) Typical August, I suppose.
nj2va
Low of 66, currently 75/72 which is a welcomed relief from back home despite the high dews. Garrett is the only county in MD without a Heat Advisory which made me wonder if the county has actually ever had a Heat Advisory (which I'd think probably not). I ran a history of all Excessive Heat Advisories through the iembot. I don't have the time to view the results, but here's a KML file you can pop into Google maps/earth to see what the density is: sbw_interval.kml

BlizzardNole
Whew hx already 103 here in Ocean City, but that might be as bad as it gets. Each day has been stinking hot by 10-11 am, then the S breeze kicks in and it get nice. Same expected today with S wind of around 10 mph. Hoping to score some thunderstorms at home on Saturday, but I know Germantown...
EastCoast NPZ
I've not seen a temp higher than 94F since I moved here....before yesterday's 99F. 89F today at freaking 11 AM. And the DP is 72F, yesterday was in mid 60s. And without a doubt another 2-day stretch of storms sliding to my north and south, before pounding all points east. Hooray.

Eskimo Joe
Would argue that given the meso disco out, even though it's only 40% watch probability, that we get upgraded to a slight risk with the afternoon update.
