A 73 dew is special .. regardless of season. Sorry you are rainy and cold and indoors

Equivalent of a 68F or so at an ASOS.

But yeah, got stuck inside this evening.

Almost an inch of rain so far.  Stratus inner tube almost full, thunder for like 90 minutes now.

So many dew deniers around here.  It's been nothing but special here all weekend.

76 70 at 4 am is how you dew it.

You just smile . They know.

Day two of your heatwave fail:

While there will be lots of clouds, we do expect some sunshine
through mid/high cloud shield. Low levels are cooler today, but
breaks of sun will allow temps to reach into the 80s in northern MA
and CT valley with 70s closer to the south coast. Moderate humidity
levels with dewpoints in the 60s

Imagine New Haven sitting on the water in Mid August, at 6 AM, having a high dewpoint. That is historic must be climate change

I have lived on the CT shoreline for close to 40 years. Its the lows at night that are noticeable. Not saying its CC but the overnight temps here have been nuts. Went outside at midnight and it was still 82 out.

76 70 at KHVN at 4am is not normal. Normal low is around 64 here.

Clouds and a breeze. 73/65 down there seems like typical warmth off the water.

The stronger caa is into N ME. A little of that may pinwheel in as a weak backdoor tonight. That low south of sne may help invite that in.

Once we kick that out we can really start to blowtorch. The weekend may be more of a mild down.

It was an above normal night for sure but the higher dewpoints are associated with a moisturized atmosphere and it will probably rain soon there. It still amazes me people don't understand when it rains the dews are very near the temperature.
