NAM is stormy Sunday afternoon from 84 to Pike region and then SE

Definitely may see some widely scattered activity Sunday and of course much of the week. One thing to keep in mind too is any storms that form won't be moving much so flash flooding will be a major concern for areas hit by storms.

so depressing.

I wish we would do away with the changing clock crap...keep wat we have now year round. Dark by 4:30 PM....that's crap

They did that in 1973 and it was awful. The sun didn't rise till close to 8:15. On cloudy days it remained  somewhat dark till later in the morning.  Rainy days were the worse, it would stay dark till around noon.

Year round DST was also in place for several years during WW2....it wasn't well received.

Just muggy as balls outside everywhere. Just finished my lawn. Dew is 67-68 and has been. Love it

Yeah, a great summer stretch coming.  Maybe a brief break or two over the next two weeks, but that's it.  let's get those SSTs primed for the multiple hurricane threats too

I was thinking this morning that this is sort of like a mirror-image of a hateful winter when we punt January.  Then February.  And while there's still interest in March, there's a lot of melts and throwing in the towel as eyes turn to spring.

Ya but August is more equal to February In your analogy  , and we had a huge December and only punted January

Yeah--but August is still not hot.  Tomorrow will be on the warmer side, but we've got a ways to go before the heat.

Another big difference in the analogy is there's nothing exciting to realistically hope for in summer.  Not too many people staying up for the 00z EPS to see what the dew points are going to be.
