It looks like mostly a standard soaker, but I am a little concerned that jet forcing is rather stationary aloft until late tomorrow night. Various models have hinted at that narrow band of really big QPF numbers, and I think that could be legit. Something on the equatorward side of the 500 mb jet.

Looks like we will see a pretty intense cluster propagate across portions of the region tonight. Probably be a very concentrated but perhaps widespread area (in terms of length) of wind damage with hail.

You think it’s mainly a MA deal? Maybe places from Pittsfield to Hunch leveled?

I’m thinking around or just south of MA Pike into extreme northern CT…right along the instability gradient. Also matches up where nose of MLJ punches through.
