in Weymouth? It's slim pickings around those parts I thought

S Weymouth on south through Brockton does well. Sometimes these storms move over Boston and push a boundary south that sparks storms just south of me. S coast seabreeze there too for convergence. Once in a while like tonight outflow from storms to the north works magic.

OK, after watching the heavy stuff pass to my north and then to my south, this area just got warned - radar shows a beeline from there (with hail, no less) to here.

Will Mt. Tom deflect this one like it seemingly has all of the others in recent days?

Guess I’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

Is the red green mixture in the super res velocity plot (New Milford one and also upper NW one) the rotation you’re describing?

It’s def strengthening as it heads SE. I can see a ton of flashes up there. I may need to try and stay up for it

That’s  from the cell that just popped near Hartford, doesn’t look like much lightning with the cell on the CT-Ma line

HRRR pretty nasty looking for tomorrow...actually favoring southern CT. If we get that much 3km CAPE with that shear...yikes

Also need to watch overnight and southern sections depending on track of Elsa.

Going to be a pretty wild day tomorrow I think

Warm front moving north is always a south coast special. Hamden tornados?
