_AR_
Alright, to keep the arguments out of the analysis threads, lets discuss and argue over the shaft zone here. 12Z Euro yesterday brought good precip well inland to central PA. Today, models seem to be thinking more of a tight gradient somewhere in western NJ. Several 06Z GFS members bring the tight gradient pretty much right along the Delaware river. Brian5671
Maine will do well with this storm and so will the cape. Nothing for everyone else...
JCT777
Considering the Euro has now gone to the well offshore track that many other models have been showing for a while...looks like Cape Cod, Nantucket, and eastern Maine will get some accumulating snow. Everyone else will get "the shaft".

chademer07
That's what she said........... Anyway, I think coastal sections of NE are the safest.
goombatommy
I'm very cautious to say who will get the "shaft". I'm still clinging to a little hope that this thing will come close enough to bring some precip as far inland as the Appalachians in PA (even if its the lightest stuff). _AR_
I-81 corridor and west. I dunno. I think it could end up right along the PA/NJ border. Something like the 00Z NAM shows. I would be happy if it made it back to I-81. I'm really pushing for 3-4". haha
NickD2011
I'd be happy if the shaft zone boundary was "Quebec"

goombatommy
Wow, is it really that hard for PennDOT to keep 1.5" of snow off the roads? Seriously?
_AR_
Wow, is it really that hard for PennDOT to keep 1.5" of snow off the roads? Seriously? LMAO. Well, even with the little snow I have here, the ground blizzard conditions are pretty intense. I'd imagine some drifting on roads could be a problem.
