Theres multiple trees down in several areas in Jersey City, some leaning on powerlines. Some lines down. I submitted the report to the NWS.

Lol rain slowed down already. Storm jumped right over my area and reformed to the south over Middlesex county

This has to be up there in terms of lines that head towards NYC and look threatening on radar, but ultimately aren't much more than garden variety.

was a windstorm in the city not much else..

As @Stormlover74 mentioned the line weakened a bit just before hitting my area and re-intensified just to my south. Had some very gusty winds out ahead of the line though. Picked up 0.12" of rain so far.

The lightning on Weathertap radar exploded as those storms blew up as well.

Super dark here with on and off downpours just ahead of the line. I actually felt some resistance trying to open the door just now.

I believe this is the first time I’ve seen a Slight Risk verify for LI in my almost 4 years of living here. Initial wind gusts were near Isaias-level.
