My whole life I thought I was the only one with this weird obsession with weather lol. 88 after a hight of 92. Today was pretty intense working in the sun. First day of the summer I cringed at my choice of making a living.

My wife and I were walking the dog around the Coast Guard property off of Telegraph Road and we both noticed this very same cloud formation off in the SW. I wondered out loud if it was a highly localized thunderhead, and she popped off with, "It's kind of...obscene looking, isn't it?" 2

BlizzardNole
Not buying those maps, even if it was in centimeters. I'll go with 0.45 for Germantown through the week.

There will be some heavy rainers pop up over the next day or so with the high pwats and decent cape, but with weak flow/shear they will probably pulse and die. There will likely be few haves and many have nots.

At least we have some action in our vicinity much earlier today than we did yesterday. Eskimo Joe
The lack of shear and mid level lapse rates are killers today. Otherwise there would be some true gully washers forming.
