Typhoon Tip
Frankly .. long about Thursday tolerances may be blown and a front "near by" might just be welcome ... not necessary, for the 4th weekend. if one comes through a ridge west dominant pattern, it probably backsides dry air and 80 F ...like absolute perfect weather for outdoors and fire works and all that shit. The Euro run is insufferable - goes from a deadly 103 HI event spanning nearly 4 days ... to a miserable one, lasting an additional 4 days. Hand wringing over losing that is tantamount to psychosis if you ask me -

Definitely a big change in "feel" from this week. This is now summer evening vibe with dews, difference being no sharp drop in temp at sunset... seasons in seasons. 72/68.

Classic ski area concern/statement lol, warm and the snow is slow/sticky so need to close the terrain parks. No way they continue operating normally on Monday/Tuesday. Today at Timberline: Sunday (6/27/21), due to the extreme heat, terrain parks will be closed for the day and the Ski Area will be closing at noon. Regular operations will resume on Monday (6/28/21). powderfreak
Tuesday looks warm. This is probably what I’ll be doing after work (pic from a couple years ago today). Walk out back and sit in the river… the water in the shade under the tree dips to chest deep, for easy cool-offs. From drinking an IPA and reading in the chair, to dipping down in the small pool… this is how we summer in New England.
