Clearwater was a bit north of me…I rarely went north of Venice or Siesta Key. The Venice Piers were always nice to visit in the evening for dolphin viewing, watching people fish, and trying to catch a green flash at sunset. Engelwood/Manasota Key are nice and quiet too. Siesta Key is nice when it’s quiet, but avoid it during touristy times.

Right far SW CT had showers earlier this morning . You didn’t get .19 of drizzle .

I was in WEHA through 2pm and it rained lol. Drizzle, showers...whatever you want to spin it, it was Cloudy and rainy. Temps below 70 is not summer. Just give it a rest already and pimp summer when it actually happens. You’re street cred is shot dude.

I’ve posted it 100x before, but if I ever move away from the cold I’m going all the way somewhere down there. The SW FL coast gives you the tropical feel despite being mainland. And like you said…lots of nice cities and towns away from TPA and RSW. So much to do too.

Love where I am in SE FL; just north of Palm Beach county and the craziness of S FL and still have Caribbean like blue water and small town feel from Sebastian to Stuart

I have nothing against SE FL. I used to fly out of FLL a lot…never been much north of there where you are. I have relatives around Daytona and that area simply does nothing for me.

71 for the high here, sorry to all those who were stuck in the 60s with showers and misery mist.  Barely more than a couple sprinkles during the daylight hours here and a few peaks of sun mixed in.  With dews in the 60s it had an late Spring /early Summer vibe.

It is late spring.
