Usually we don’t get this type of sustained heat in June, so these cool offs are just regression to normal before we bake again.

newark will have 16 90 degree days by July 1…must be a record. @donsutherland1

Newark Records:

Highest number of 90° days through June 30:
1. 18, 1991
2. 16, 2010
3. 15, 1987

Today is Newark's 15th such day.

Today is Newark's 8th 95° day so far. The previous record through June 30 was 7, which was set in 1943.

Thanks Don, so Newark will get to 2nd on the list.

8 95 degree days already is absurd.

Good. I'm taking wedding photos on Saturday.

Hold up… You of all people did not insist on a winter wedding? I for sure thought when you were tying the knot you’d be getting married on top of Mount Washington in February! Congrats though!

GFS is ugly this weknd as the ULL remains over head for days.

Ugly timing but welcomed relief.

If it's this hot now I can't imagine how it's gonna be during peak climo.

Of course sometimes the worst heat comes early but I don't think this will be one of those times.

Too high because sensor is in irrigated garden.  81° seems a bit up there, although it feels right.

Yea, my sensor is over grass and is reading 97/79.

This seabreeze is crap. FRG jumped to 91/74 behind it, ISP closing in on 90...so i dont think we get much relief
