nwohweather
Hail could be a bit of a problem today with anything that fires with that dry air in the mid levels. Honestly not a bad setup for some damaging winds
NorthHillsWx
With the freezing line around 750 mb tomorrow and CAMs showing some enhanced convection, there may be some fairly efficient hail producing storms in the area tomorrow and maybe even some hail “showers”

Very cool to be honest, just would get the brief bursts of convection that was almost entirely hail.

I’ve seen it only once in my life but we had maybe 20 minutes of pure, pea sized hail, that covered everything including the road. I think some areas see this tomorrow

nwohweather
I think we see some severe weather along the coast today here. CAPE levels approaching 5000 j/kg with modest shear & helicity this afternoon with the approaching front. nwohweather
LCL is pretty high and shear isn't quite there yet. Going to be hard to get these to be true severe storms in my opinion. CAPE is 5000 j/kg so certainly a lot of fuel, but not liking everything at the moment
