At 212 PM EDT, a storm with a history of producing a tornado was
located 14 miles west of Abbeville, or near Lowndesville, moving
east at 30 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes

located 11 miles west of Abbeville, or 4 miles east of Lowndesville,
moving east at 30 mph.

It wasn't just you.  Thread in central/western forum yesterday about MS very low user count as it was ongoing

keep an eye on Dallas metro today for another sneaky event

 

I actually hate high hyped day threads..too many busts calls at 1pm

At 240 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Troy, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Biscoe around 245 PM EDT.
  Seagrove around 250 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Highfalls, Steeds, Robbins and Star.

Looks like they’re finally loosening up. They both traveled a solid 20-30 miles before weakening though. Curious to see the damage reports. There’s not much for structures in their paths. Mainly just timberland and national forest.

was located near Abbeville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Abbeville County.

CAPE has came in much higher than originally anticipated. Heck at my house it's currently 90 with a dew of 68. Helicity is alright, but a fairly low LCL, decent shear and tons of energy are letting these things breathe and put down some damn good storms.
