hawkeye_wx
This morning's 0.70" of rain (with a bit of thunder at the start) has boosted my May total to an above-average 4.52". From May 14th-27th, it has rained every day except for one. Of course, that includes even a tiny bit of rain at 12:05am.

Geoboy645
Man this weather is just absolutley terrible. 43 and rain at 5pm on May 27th is straight up not ok. I mean who doesn't love a feel-like temp of 33? Hard to believe yesterday was 73 and sunny and the day before 84 and humid. Or you know actual Late May weather. At least the rain will help with the drought and it wouldn't be terrible if it was oh IDK 20 degrees warmer. At least this is only today and tomorrow and then back to at least semi-normal for this time of year.
Scorpion
Yeah feels absolutely brutal especially since I put my winter clothes up didn’t think it could feel this cold near June. The howling wind and rain just soaked my jeans in a couple minutes.

Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Green Bay WI 702 AM CDT Fri May 28 2021 Updated aviation portion for 12Z TAF issuance .SHORT TERM...Today...Tonight...and Saturday Issued at 405 AM CDT Fri May 28 2021 Scattered light rain across central and east central Wisconsin will end this morning as the upper low exits the southern part of the state. A little snow may mix in across central Wisconsin. Clearing skies are expected during the day as drier air advects in from the 1030 mb surface high centered over Lake Superior. Highs today will be much warmer than yesterday, but still about 15 to 20 degrees below normal for this time of the year. The computer models forecast the surface high to move into Wisconsin tonight, as a sharp upper ridge approaches from Minnesota. Clear skies, diminishing winds and very dry air are all favorable for temperatures to fall quickly tonight. In fact the precipitable water values forecast for tonight are near the all time lows for late May in the last 70 years of record keeping. Lows in the 20s are a good bet west of an Iron Mountain to Wausau line. Further east it will be in the low to mid 30s. Areas near the lake and bay may escape a frost or freeze but the remainder of the area looks likely to receive one. Record low temperatures are likely in a few places.

Torchageddon
I got down to 3C with a windchill of 0C, had some rain-snow mix in the last hour. This is the coldest I've been so late as far as I know.
fluoronium
It's disgustingly cold for late May, and I didn't even get consolation thunderstorms during the temperature drop. This sucks. Looks like a lot of record cold highs are about to fall.

vpbob21
Some really impressive lakeshore flooding around western Lake Erie today. In my town the flooding is some of the worst I've ever seen. The weather is so bad even Cedar Point had to close. I can't imagine how bad this would have been if this had happened last year when the lake levels were higher.

michsnowfreak
High at DTW yesterday was 50, which was a record cold max for the day, but that was at midnight. The daytime high was 46 (in fact, it had dropped to 46 by 2am). To put it into perspective, only one time on record after May 24 was there a high temp colder than 46.
BuffaloWeather
4 out of 5 of the last Mays have featured below average temps here, the only exception was 2018 with a +8.1 temps. Almost every other month has been above normal besides April/May, definitely a trend.

beavis1729
Didn’t get as cold as the airmass could have enabled overnight, as the clouds held on for quite awhile. FEP, being very rural and having a longer period of clear skies, dropped to 33. DKB hit 35, and 39 here. Most of N IL was 37-41.
