John1122
The thunder is crazy this morning. It lasts 15 or 20 seconds per lightning strike. Not sure I've every heard such long lasting rumbles.
WestTennWX
Pretty nasty line that moved through West TN about 4 am. Over 8 thousand without power in my area. I'd estimate 60-70 mph gusts
PowellVolz
Could be a weak spin up just north of Nashville .

Chip
I think anything (tornadoes ) are going to have a hard time getting going with the backing of the winds in the mid levels. I’m even referring to later after this line passes. All the soundings that I’m looking at have pretty good backing in the mid levels.

PowellVolz
This spin up looks pretty healthy headed towards Crossville. Radar is so far away it’s hard to tell though. .

PowellVolz
Well, if the Bama boundary lifts north this afternoon... Cullman!I think ETn is out of the severe threat for this afternoon unless we get an extended period of clouds breaking up. LI are pretty high for this afternoon with the cold pool moving in but SBCAPE will probably be just a few hundred JK unless we get some clearing. Storm mode is a lot more messy than I anticipated. .
