My call for highest accums at IAG looks good. I guessed 3.7” for BUF too. Gonna bust high for ROC and Wolfie it seems though as they unfortunately got skunked. wolfie09
Some decent banding along the lake shore, we may only finish with an inch or two tops but it's hard for me to call it a bust since timing was horrid lol We obviously would accumulate much better overnight.. This is where I read yesterday that once the pack was on the ground it won’t have any issues accumulating on the snow, but roadways, sidewalks, etc. would have difficulty. This gives me hope we hit 5”

mississaugasnow
Im not a big fan snow after March 15th but I cant turn down a once in 20 year snow event across the GTA (For after April 20th) and one of the biggest in my area so late in the season.

lakeeffectkid383
Snow winding down in Derby on the cam. 5.2” on the deck. Backend over achieved. Didn’t think we would accumulate that well once sun was up but with over 3 1/2 inches already on the ground and some moderate to heavy snowfall rates for a while we added an inch and a half after sun up. Think of what we could have had if we didn’t have that several hour lull during the overnight hours when all the precip was NW of the BUF metro.
SouthBuffaloSteve
Up to 4.5” here at 1030. Had an hour of huge puff bombs but didn’t really add up to much. Lilacs are really starting to droop.

Not much deviation in track over the last 3 days or so...funny thing is it only took until 1 month into spring to get it right...

BuffaloWeather
I thought this was a well forecasted system here for several days out 4-6" is about what everyone got. This will Buffalos 3rd highest snowfall total this late in the season, behind 1989 and 1909.
vortmax
RGEM seems to be showing some LE overnight, NAM not so much. 12z HRRR similar to RGEM, 3k NAM has nada, HRW has some as well.
TugHillMatt
It's uncanny how it's been the SAME thing for 6 months. CNY misses the synoptic to the north and west....the lake effect afterwards sets up and blasts the hills south of Syracuse. Donut hole reigns on.
