ORH_wxman
Time to fire up this thread before the 00z suite as we’re now close enough that it’s going to happen for at least part of this forum. Mitch in S VT as well as central greens over the monadnocks and at least northern Berkshires are locked in for significant snow. Also western Maine over to white mountains are looking very good for significant snows. Furthern north could get in on it too depending on trends and interior SNE from ORH to N CT elevations need to watch closely as well. This storm bombs out quickly to our southeast. You can see the deep layer easterly flow that will accompany this system:

Ginx snewx
18Z Euro is colder and a Cape Cod cutter. Really impressive dynamics with 3hr precip rates of .6 in spots. Obviously elevation but with these dynamics some surprises in order. Somebody is going to get absolutely smoked at elevation.

He’d mess up like 5 feet on either side of the driveway out there. Just had all that fixed.
CoastalWx
00z hrrr sort of has that weenie band I mentioned near Kevin. However the true snow is probably only in a very narrow area where lift is deep and would need to also be at 1K elevation at least. The clown maps are just going to be trash in many areas. Typhoon Tip
I wouldn’t discount small giga motions as mere ignorable noise in this sort of delicate set up. Could be 1” of silver or 10” of blue. Very tight

I don't buy it but I'm not necessarily hard selling it either if the overnight runs can hold serve an tick S.
