WxUSAF
Guidance can’t seem to decide if we’re getting less than 0.5” of rain through Sunday or more like 1.5-2”. Keeps bouncing back and forth. Seems like the drier solutions are becoming more common though as we get closer.

Hopefully any significant rain- if there is any- holds off until later Sunday into Monday. A mostly dry weekend would be very nice.

Chris78
79 here in Smithsburg. A bit to warm for April 7th. Knock about 10 to 15 degrees off and that would be perfect for April imo.
CAPE
75 here. A tad warm for early April.
BlizzardNole
Yeah this is too warm too soon. Dulles at 83 and DCA at 82. I like the next seven days with all 60s and low 70s. That's more like it!
Chris78
Sitting here watching my Daughters softball practice sweating like crazy. Too warm for early April.
vastateofmind
Hit 85 IMBY short while ago...and just as I was going out to mow the yards! Yeah, that seems a toasty temp for this time of year, but honestly, it was NOT bad even in the sun. At least, I didn't get AS gross/sweaty as I normally do while mowing on afternoons from late May through early September.
vastateofmind
Mrs. V called me on her way home from work short while ago telling me how ominous the skies look. Sure enough, the sky to the west does have that telltale "Yep, storms incoming" look that we typically get in these parts, usually starting in a few weeks....but there's ZERO activity on radar, in the entire metro region. Very weird...

LOL, I had to do a quadruple-take to fully understand your meaning. And yes -- at this point, Kona was really put out with me because A) I kept her inside while I mowed an hour before this, and B) then forgot to let her out while I snapped these pics. #BadDogDad BTW, we finally did get several rounds of heavy sprinkles over the past hour....so those clouds weren't necessarily lying. Not heavy enough to show up on radar, though.

r3w
Got around 71 here in SOMD. Enjoyed driving around getting errands done with the windows down & a cold cup of iced tea. I just hope our storm season gets cooking soon. I get a bit impatient lol...especially when storms become active down South...kinda looks pretty boring for us for a while though, but ya never know when something can pop up.
CAPE
Looks like another nice day before the easterly flow gets going in earnest, bringing clouds and drizzle, and maybe some actual showers by late Saturday. Perhaps some thunder on Sunday with the cold front approaching. Sneaky low end severe potential?
mappy
need rain. allergies are awful. our hvac unit compressor went up, so we've been living with opened windows as much as possible and it is not good for my head. need relief!

Forecast definitely backed off from the Thu-Mon idea of showers/drizzle to mainly late tonight through Sunday evening. Despite occasionally waving my "I LOVE ONSHORE FLOW" freak flag, to @mappy's point...we could use some precip to knock back the tree pollen explosion. Like her, my seasonal allergies are spiking big-time this week.

Eskimo Joe
We're quietly slipping into some pretty dry conditions. This normally is the low point for fire calls of the year for our fire department, but we're running brush fires just about every day.
vastateofmind
Up to 79 IMBY, busting high on our forecasted high of 70 (at least from this morning). Comfortable out, though.
CAPE
65, sunny and breezy here. Perfect. That high off to the NE bringing in the flow from the east, although eventually it will bring the clouds and drizzle too. I probably should get out and do some mowing while its nice. Maybe a DIPA will motivate me lol.
