The howling wind will make it hard to hear the bears, bobcats, and timber rattler outside your tent. That sucks.

If it was me there and I just read this, I’d be sleeping in my car tonight. :weep:

I’m not ashamed to admit that I woke up a couple of times during the night and thought that something was running over the tent. It’s off and on roaring now.

Son has a game at 8pm. So tired of the frozen toes. Def been some chilly nights

Yeah thats what Ive been saying...I know people dont want 80 and Humid...but I would have liked a little more 70 degree and sunny days than theres been of late. But I know its how April can go but I feel like March was better...Looks like starting next week though we should see more consistent 70s

Weather station showing 33 at Deep Creek with a stiff NW wind.  Front pushed through around 5:30a there.

Whoa! Didn't think it would drop that much already, even up there!

I forgot that you were going to OC and had to go back a few posts to see how your wx was down there! Sounds like it was cool....but I'll take that at the beach (along with the good eats/drinks!) anyday.  :)

Currently, sustained winds are picking up quite a bit -- temp at 63. I need to get a decent wx station that records wind speed....

Yeah I just wish it was warmer on Saturday so we could have went to an outdoor restaurant on the water or even sat on the beach with a beer with the dog. Couldnt really do anything with the pup Saturday because it was just too cool to be outside for a sustained period of time. But oh well, thats the chance we took. Sunday was pleasant though in Berlin, we spent most of our day in downtown Berlin and at the Globe which is now owned by Burley Oak and has many of their beers. But whats weird was we couldnt take the dog to Burley Oak brewing facility but the staff at the globe allowed us too even though its owned by the same entity lol..whatevs
