Crazy thunderstorm over night here and in Northern DE. with few intense lightening strikes and it prompted MH to issue a flood advisory in a area that was previously forecasted to only have a 20 % chance of showers. Unusual rainfall events continue right where they left off previously. Ground very saturated.

Went for a run and then brunch in fells point this morning. Was cool/foggy/a little mist but not bad for a morning run. Comfortable. Lots of people out even though it wasn’t maybe the most ideal morning but Fells was popping. There was a 5k run going on, a couple farmers markets and just a lot of people out and about. Now at the park and it’s obviously warmer with a little bit of sun from time to time. Lots of folks here too.

Looks like partly sunny all next week with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Maybe a random shower here and there. Hard to complain about that if it verifies.

Unfortunately, the trends for the week ahead are not good.      There is growing agreement that a coastal low will form, and while it probably won't be a washout for the Mid-Atlantic, it certainly (barring a flip back to not emphasizing that feature) seems like we are headed for several days in the 50s in the mid to later week period.

Currently 75, clear blue skies. A departure from the weekend forecast put forth several days ago, but again -- I'll take it!  :D

Holy hell, you aren't kidding. Thought Sunday was going to be a washout, and instead it is spring perfection.  Sunny and 78. What a weekend.

Looks like the coastal low gets going offshore, so odds favor higher impact NE of here. Probably will be a period of showers, esp for eastern areas maybe Thursday, but my hunch is we mostly stay on the drier west side, so the bark may be worse than the bite looking at h5.

eta- upper 50s/low 60s are fine with me. Ofc I will be stuck inside working all week so it wont matter much lol. Would be nice in the evenings outside of any showery periods.

Very light showers moving through right now....down to 78, but still comfortable out there. Honestly, more than a salvageable day -- went with Mrs. V to take the dog for a walk in the 12 noon to 1 p.m. hour, and while it was legit warm-ish at 84 with just a taste of humidity at that point, it was still enjoyable.

Just after I finished up some gardening about 30 mins ago a cool breeze came through.  Then it hailed for about 30 seconds before it started pouring.  Would rain hard with some wind for a min or two and then letup or stop entirely, and then it would repeat.  The on and off thing went on for about 20 mins.  The "bands" were somewhat strange, like a little microburst that couldn't figure out what it wanted to do.
