Interesting snippet from Mount Holly AFD. I chuckled. Dude seems genuinely disappointed lol.

A nondescript weather pattern continues through the greater part of the upcoming week with a lack of any significant weather features of interest. Anomalously high 500 mb heights over the North Atlantic in association with wave breaking will mark a change in weather pattern with the negative NAO developing. Concomitantly, a decreasing Rossby Wave Number flirting from 4 to 5 is also to blame for this upcoming pattern. As mentioned in the previous discussion, the position of the downstream trough axis off the New England Coast and a building ridge to our west through the upcoming week will work to keep us largely void of significant precipitation and impactful weather.
