Otto's out on the west end of Atherton St. is a great spot.  Happy Valley Brewing is a hotspot and much closer to Mountain View but I believe they had a fire recently?? Not sure of their status.  Liberty Crafthouse downtown is a trendy little spot.  Oh, I also like American Ale House up in the woods in Toftrees, cool spot.  Good luck!

We have a Toftrees poster on here and I pinged him but no luck.

Edit: Just realized I used the word "spot" way too much.  I'll be better.

Thanks for the help! I think we’re going to try Otto’s, looked at their website and seems like they have a good variety.

First rain of the week last night- nice again today but the weather looks ominous for driving home Saturday. Heavy, flooding rains expected to arrive later tomorrow continuing into the weekend.

well enjoy the rest of your week, take your time Saturday, safe travels

NWS pulled the trigger

Interesting says our southern friends issued it.

Wow, that’s incredible stuff. Probably about as cold as it gets for mid-June. Thing is, all of the models support extreme anomalous cold aloft somewhere at that time, but that solution puts it closest to PA.

Be safe!

Thanks all! It's been an incredible week so far. Timing of our rain is unfortunate but it's hard to complain much after what we've enjoyed.

There are showers ripping around that Upper Low.  If any faster paced rain developed in NY, especially in a storm situation with strong downdrafts, there could graupel as soundings show it below freezing below 800MB.  How much for Albany?

View just now from my deck. Front end loader is gearing up for flooding by plowing sand and putting down gravel for traction to help those of us near the ocean to get out.

Dude, that view is incredible.  I love West Coast (of Florida) beaches but that pic makes me want to jump in the car and head east.

I did not notice your location change until now.  Were you posting in the NC forum?  :-)

No, only have in here. Limited posting for obvious reasons but wanted to provide updates on what it's like here.

If you look at the Outer Banks on a map, it's sort of shaped like a boomerang. We are at the eastern most tip of it.
