Happy Valley Brewing is a hotspot and much closer to Mountain View but I believe they had a fire recently?? Not sure of their status. Liberty Crafthouse downtown is a trendy little spot. Oh, I also like American Ale House up in the woods in Toftrees, cool spot. Good luck! We have a Toftrees poster on here and I pinged him but no luck. Bubbler86
Gotta like the looks of the 12Z HRRR and its usually stingy qpf fields. Overnight/in the Am tomorrow it pushes a shield of precip up and into all of the LSV. Now time, several small cells/showers milling around the 'Burg right now. Well, I should clarify, measured .01" and that is being generous. Not optimistic about today's chances for the eastern LSV either. show off

I think we’re going to try Otto’s, looked at their website and seems like they have a good variety.

Itstrainingtime
First rain of the week last night- nice again today but the weather looks ominous for driving home Saturday. Heavy, flooding rains expected to arrive later tomorrow continuing into the weekend.

Bubbler86
SO the GFS joins the 2-4" for a large chunk of Central and Western LSV bandwagon. A bit less for the Burg and East. If we get shut out over here this will be one spectacular failure.
Bubbler86
NWS pulled the trigger Flood Watch National Weather Service State College PA Issued by National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 1147 AM EDT Thu Jun 10 2021 * Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Lancaster, Somerset and York. Typical I think some of the rain into tomorrow will be slower and more strat like you wanted. Bubbler86
Next week is shaping up to be great temp and Dp wise. A little brrrr one night. High DP's flushed out Sunday night. MDT very close to breaking two daily min records based on this GFS run. June 16 and 17.

I did not notice that, great catch. 540 line in PA mid June is probably fairly rare. DP at MDT is mostly in the 40's and 50's next week.

Thing is, all of the models support extreme anomalous cold aloft somewhere at that time, but that solution puts it closest to PA.

There are showers ripping around that Upper Low. If any faster paced rain developed in NY, especially in a storm situation with strong downdrafts, there could graupel as soundings show it below freezing below 800MB. How much for Albany?

Itstrainingtime
View just now from my deck. Front end loader is gearing up for flooding by plowing sand and putting down gravel for traction to help those of us near the ocean to get out.
Bubbler86
How is this for a stat. On today's 12Z GFS, MDT does not hit 80 (after today) on any map, including all 18Z panels, until June 24th! A two week punt of above average temps.

It's closer to the ocean than many oceanfront homes are, but because it's not, I pay a fraction of what the oceanfront homes go for. Private pool, hot tub, cornhole, and bikes all included and it's a great time.

If you look at the Outer Banks on a map, it's sort of shaped like a boomerang. We are at the eastern most tip of it.
