Rain is pouring down. Nearing an inch in the gauge already. What a miserable day. Maybe some flakes tonight as the moisture pulls away?

My forecast for destination next week. Can't wait to get out of here.

Thursday

Sunny, with a high near 93. Northeast wind 6 to 13 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

27° down here this morning.

The fact that we are still "abnormally dry" here is a joke.  NYC reservoirs full and spilling, swamps all over my yard.  I'd hate to see what we should be.  This next rain can miss us to our west and we'll be fine.

Similar in our part of the county.  After thinking we were possibly heading toward “drought” in mid-late April, I’m now avoiding mowing parts of the lawn because they are too wet and I’ll get stuck.  26° recorded low, though I only saw 27° at 6am.

That is remarkable....we have had clear blue sky all morning in Binghamton, AKA the cloud capital of the universe.  It’s truly a rare beautiful morning here while it’s pouring rain a few hours west.  Funny.

How much snow for LEK?  I smirked a week or so ago when there were posts about “one last shot at snow”. Get me to June before I consider snow season done. Looks like the high elevations might get snow tomorrow too.

3/4"....all but gone now.

I have been amazed at how much your additional 700 feet over the Syracuse area has helped you this year....like a several feet difference.

The elevation has certainly helped quite a bit for a good chunk of the difference, But I was also closer to a couple of synoptic events in December and January.....and I'm not too close to your house, lol!!!:p
