Wx4cast
When the TANDY started printing some ugly looking FOUS numbers I was worried Its never failed me yet and been more consistent then the GFS or any other model have been. BTW I still run the BT model on it too! ;-)
Ginx snewx
The GFS looks great at init....................
Akeem the African Dream
What are we looking at timing wise on this storm? I understand we are now pushed back to Sunday. When does the onset of precip look to begin? Is it prior to nightfall on Sunday? Any feedback from you SNE folks would be appreciated.

Damage In Tolland
I don't care if it's the KMA....having any piece of guidance trendin in this manner so close in is bad news. Close in? We're almost 4 days away and it's the NAM.. WTF is wrong with people?
Kbosch
Looks pretty similar to 00z through 12...

Clinch Leatherwood
Looks pretty similar to 00z through 12... Critically, it's a lot slower with the sw s/w and to some extent the energy coming down through the Dakotas.
Bostonseminole
I think we will like the GFS.. based on what I see at 36.. let's see if I am any good at this..

It's a good thing we have people to see it critically then /not sarcasm
CoastalWx
Nrn stream seems a little stronger here with better ridging out ahead of it. Heights slightly flatter over the se at hr 36.

weatherwiz
Nrn stream seems a little stronger here with better ridging out ahead of it. Heights slightly flatter over the se at hr 36. Looking a tad stronger with the TX s/w as well.
Kbosch
Again to my untrained eye it looks like we'll be in good shape through 30...
Clinch Leatherwood
I think the GFS is going to be good You guys already have later panels than I do. I don't particularly like the alignment with the sw s/w further west and northern system further east...and canadian energy even slower as compared to the 0z. MarkO
So far signs looking like it's holding serve... although it does look a little faster...
CoastalWx
I think the GFS is going to be good I may be wrong, but I think it could be a little east.
CT Rain
If I get an 18" windswept snow on Monday I would be content with no more snow all winter.
weatherwiz
Definitely much slower than the 0z run through 42 and pretty similar to the 6z run...also looks MUCH better with the orientation of the ridge out in the west than the NAM does. CT Rain
I may be wrong, but I think it could be a little east. Yup, agreed. Looks like it will be east of 6z.

Clinch Leatherwood
Yup, agreed. Looks like it will be east of 6z. I think it looks less appealing. There may be a miracle later but right from the start you have northern energy further east, southern energy further west = more positive alignment to the trough which is going to make it a game of catchup. Add to that slower energy diving down from Canada and there's even less help. You guys are ahead of me in the panels on NCEP, but even the jet streak structure looks crappy. It's not coming straight south now.

OKpowdah
Looks like it'll pretty bad for the Mid Atlantic, but probably a good hit for eastern New England
Clinch Leatherwood
hooker? That's the hope for us. It's going to have to come later as it won't be coming straight at us from the SW.
Damage In Tolland
All I ask is that weenies don't flip out..saying it's 0-2 today..a shot across the bow type nonsense. Until and only if the Euro does it..none of the farther east solutions matter. It's just garbage
