So I finished with my crypto purchases, current holdings:

Cardano (ADA): 602
XLM (Stellar): 767
Ethereum: .243
Litecoin: .67

Wish I had a bit more of Eth and LiteCoin, but ah well.

Good collection of investments. Definitely consider Polygon, Polkadot and Chainlink as well.

My top 3 are ETH, Cardano and equal shares into XLM & Polygon. I have some LTC as well.

ETH & Cardano are excellent long term investments & you could stake them for 5-8% interest depending on the pools you're using.

And even though Bitcoin has been moving sideways for 3 months it's still worth investing into for the long term. I personally don't own any but if it dips below 49-50K I might buy in.

What is Cardano

Goldman Sachs announced it will be offering , Bitcoin derivative products as investments .

The Company referred to as the the “Vampire Squid” trying to make money obviously On crypto “craze” but  maybe wrap its tentacles around Bitcoin using  derivatives to lever up and  influence price (More of a question)

Doesn't look like Coinbase offers staking for ADA but I would if they did. Chain link has been on my radar as well

Cardano is a blockhain like ETH but apparently is faster and more secure.

Chainlink is in all the articles I’ve read, definitely a good buy...but I tend to navigate to the cheaper ones for the chance at a home run lol. I’ll get a few chainlink shares eventually though. It would provide a good batting avg compared to the home run swings.

^Yep.. most likely the brake pad indicators close to touching the rotor .

That's more likely if sticking to paved roads, but when I've been driving on graveled logging roads I've had that same horrendous squeal that stops when braking, and in those cases it was a pebble getting caught between the rotor and its shield.  (This was ~40 years ago. I don't know if rotor shields are still used.)

This has to be an error...all the previous projections were like 608,000 by August 1

image.thumb.png.d2d45857a50dde7541c7d3fc0dafa85f.png

That would mean about 3,000 per day between now and then, or 4-5 times the current rate.  Either there's a quarter million unreported deaths out there or folks expect a 5th wave.  Sell.

Second dose administered. Waiting 15 min in observation area as data downloaded to a cloud server for Bill Gates.

Mordancy or Fister  ?

I hear it matters...

actually I've heard a bunch of what ultimately may be shit, ranging from:

"if you get a reaction from the first shot of either, that means you had Covid once, whether you self resolved or not"

"if you get a reaction from the first shot of Moderna, that means you had Covid once, whether you self resolved or not - not true for Pfifer"

"If you don't get a reaction from the first dose, you're doomed to couch for 3 days of misery on the 2nd no matter what, regardless of either"

"If you get a reaction to the first shot, you are less likely to get a reaction to the 2nd at all - but if you do, it'll be like the first reaction"

"If you get no reaction to the first shot, you get 10 times worse reaction from the 2nd and it's really bad fear monger yadda yadda CNN "

"Moderna has nano-bots that's why it is reactive more so than Pfifer"

"Pfifer isn't really a vaccine - it's a nano-chip delivery system, which is why you don't actually get an immo-responose"

"Anything that sounds at all plausible... no matter how impossible, must have actually happened" - the modern variant of Occam's razor

Yeah, I was Moderna ... first dose ten days ago.   No reaction that I was aware.

Still, I have family that ranged from 2 day stints on couch and loathing ... to no reaction from either dose.  But not sure if they took Moderna or Pfifer or whatever...

I guess the safe route is that if one has the latitude to decide, clear your calendar for a day or two afterwards in the off chance of some dull headed waken state of fugue. Chalk it up as a one-off systemically mandated time off.

Did you download the "Find My Vaccinated Friends" App yet? It lets you sync and track the microchips in your friends.  The basic is free, but you have to pay if you want to see all the data the companies get to see.

Meh. The Dow doesn’t seem to care

Many Americans don't even have any retirement accounts (or substantial savings), so the performance of the Wall Street casino is of no help to them.

Inflation in basic goods and services is a big deal for them, however.

Undoubtedly.  Food prices have been ticking up over the past year or so. Now things like steel (and lumber obviously) are going to the moon.

Rough go ahead for many

In 2021, food-at-home prices are expected to increase between 1.0 and 2.0 percent, and food-away-from-home prices are now expected to increase between 2.5 and 3.5 percent. Despite these predicted increases, inflation for most food categories is expected to be at or below their 20-year historical averages—exceptions include nonalcoholic beverages, other foods, and fresh fruit.”

Ticking up on food? I’d say it’s up like 25-30% in the last 12-14 months. It’s not even subtle

Food is technically up about 4% year over year....but that is more than recent years. We've become accustomed to very low food inflation since the recession in 2007-2009. A couple years in there actually had slightly declining food prices (2016 most recently). Global food inflation is a bit higher though...some countries are experiencing double digit food infation because of higher energy costs in addition to the more modest food inflation. The United States is lucky in that it can grow way more food than it needs and doesn't need to import a lot of staples...and the two countries we happen to import the most food from are right next to us (Canada/Mexico) which keeps transports costs down.
