Meh, mod-semi heavy rain for 10-15 min, no thunder/lightning/wind...uneventful.

67F / DP 62F

Had a warning here, but it was in and out in about 10 minutes. Not too windy, one flash of lightning before it got here, and 0.25" of rain. It did come down pretty hard, I got soaked, lol.

I see our high wind watch for later tomorrow has been upgraded to a warning. Hold on to your hats!

No lightning here, just mod/heavy rain for a short period.

Glenn has 40-45mph by noon-1pm here then 50-60mph max....glad no trash till Sun night.

In the forecast discussion by the NWS for later tomorrow, they mention some impressive tropopause folding around 500 MB. Had to look that one up, lol.

When was the last time this area was in a high wind warning?  Usually it's advisories.  Isabel is the last significant wind event I can recall.  Hoping this won't be as bad as that was, but sounds like it may get interesting around here later.

I dunno, but my personal weather station sure picked a bad time to get all flakey. I was hoping to record some epic wind gusts today but it's intermittently going offline for some reason. Might have to change the batteries I think...

Pretty intrigued with severe weather potential across southeast PA Tuesday. Looks like another EML plume may move overhead with the warm front lifting just north of the area yielding a very warm/moist and unstable airmass. Pretty decent shear aloft with shortwave energy approaching. May even be pretty close to triple point...you throw that in with EML air, decent shear, and warm/moist/unstable airmass...could be favorable for some supercells.

Nothing to right home about yet in the wind department. Maybe top gusts of 40mph. Concentrated to the north so far.

Reading had a gust to 54mph according to Glenn.

No flying cows or vodka bottles here but I've had solid gust all afternoon 45+mph at times...I honestly think I hit 50mph at one point.

10 yards of mulch survived the night under a tarp and a lot of rocks; just had a couple small "drifts" of wood chips up against the SW side of the house. Temps peaked at almost 68°F here with winds blowing up to 10 from the west. Was an absolutely beautiful day to move a crap-ton of mulch. I think I move about 8 yards, but I did NOT want to be doing this in 80 degree weather tomorrow. Back side of the house is almost completely mulched in and it looks GOOD. My arms are jello!
