I think only certain people took part in that poll. I’d be willing to bet if it was done again today, and all posters took part on it, you’d see a closer result . Freak and Scoots are two examples who would vote differently now

I prefer it a little muggy...I'm all set with the 70+ although I'd admit it's nice at the beach and I loved it in FL. But up here 80/60 is probably my preference. No chill in the evening and the window fans cool down the house efficiently. I'm not stressing about overheating birds either.

Yes.. I mean I prefer 70+. 60 is as low as it gets before uncomfortable cool .But no one here likes having to wear jackets at night in summer or getting out of a  pool or beach or lake and have it be 76/42 with a breeze and instant chill goosebumps. Summers are meant to be hot and humid  . Iron clad argument really

CNN takes 'Trumpism' incindiary rhetoric to degrees of immortality that Trump himself would be jealous of...  with their headlining tactical fear mongering, and turn of phraseology ... but, this is still alarming without their assisting in one doomscrolling their web source for profit...   The GL eco systems is on the verge because of this.  There are a lot of aquatic species that need ice in their spawning cycle .. and it is complex. Like Whitefish, need shallows to ice over so their eggs are protected, ..then when the water warms in spring there is a normal algal bloom that the fish feed on... but if the water is outside of a range ( to warm in this case..), the algae doesn't bloom... and that particular chain of dependent biota collapses... This sort of pyramidal relationship is just one in a huge life web of the lakes ecology that is on the verge...  Oh, and yeah - it is climate change proven

I want to clarify I don’t like high dews, but warm/hot and dry is growing on me each year.  I love this weather right now.  But hiking in dews during the summer and the bugs that come with muggy weather, pass.

I want summer days hot and cool refreshing nights.

We'll probably have another bad wx stretch or two, and summer is still a good month away so it's normal.

I wish this were true.   My benchmark is Will I go to a night game in Boston?   To be safe I tend to wait until June.
