Haven't seen it yet (5 minutes away) but some Einstein though this would deter speeding. If anything it would promote drunk driving because you would be swerving anyways. Oh yeah, great traffic pattern when the roads are slick....

They made the worst mind boggling decision in major league history by keeping the worst pitcher in baseball Taijuan Walker and actually throwing that guy in the starting rotation to start the season. They deserve only 80 wins. Some say they tried to trade Bohm, I can't take watching the 6yo like temper tantrums every time he fails to hit.

Walker, six scoreless innings today in a Phils win, stud. Upper brass already compiling a contract extension...

One game against an awful team, though last year he threw batting practice against everybody

The reason they're letting him pitch is hopefully he gets some good starts in then use him for trade bait at the deadline. We all know he's going to fall apart at some point but hopefully it's on another team. Phils want to bring up Painter from AAA at some point.

Pretty cool 94 WIP playing snippets of Harry Kalas's great calls before each break. He passed 16 years ago today. His voice was the Merrill Reese of baseball....

Yeah he had the voice! I ran into him once in a wawa parking lot walking towards the store, on a really nice spring day. So I said "It's a beautiful day!", and he answered back something to the effect of "It's a beautiful day for a ballgame!" probably cuz the Phil's were playing that night. Funny, but just a nice short and sweet exchange.
