3.4" /0.19" liquid.   This looks like we've wrapped up winter snow here. Sad AF.  Debating grade for season again. F+ or D-...

At least Bayern Munich is losing today  The f@cks.

Oh come on now. You know we will get a slushy coating on Monday that will melt by 9am on 40 degree southerly winds. I am sure we have 320 dustings to go. Don't give up now. There is still time to get to a few feet below average!

On another note, thanks for sharing the beautiful pics of real winter, @BuffaloWeather!

That's insane lol. I vaguely remember that event but it's hard to even comprehend those types of rates. I've been in some good blizzards growing up in MA which presumed to have 3" (maybe 4") rates at times and that was pouring dendrites. I can't imagine more than that. So cool.

Nemo in Conn. had 5-6" rates per hour in 2013 I think? That band was insane.

Incredible. What was the forecast for those areas?  I know they had a LE warning, thought forecast totals were only 8-12” though. Not many places in the country can bust so spectacularly awesome where 8-12” turns into 30”+.

They had winter weather advs last night when I was chasing that crazy band. Forecast were 4-6" storm totals. They upgraded to WSW late last night around 11pm for 6-12". Events like this are what make living here so special.

Springville is beautiful, you're surrounded by Boston Hills to the north and and ridges to the south in ski country.
