We said yesterday 4/5 with moderate picking up after 4 o’clock. Perfect time for those who covet asphalt

2nd that. Theres nothing worse than a 6" snowstorm in December/March/April when the plows dont even have to go out and everythings black and wet. Happens here all the time in death valley.

We tried to tell you? Seriously nice little event. Beautiful outside right now.

This part of the event was always the portion I thought could overperform up here (south coast different story with the thump)...this midlevel stuff

After a couple of lulls and periods of light snow another 0.2" has fallen.  5.1" total as darkness falls.  Light snow currently and the concrete walkway to the house is already white again after being cleared at 4:20.

Radar looks good for this evening.  Can we pull another 1" here?

Pull and grab....yes you can.

Those echoes south of Boston in Scott’s neighborhood are wild, seeing that low level stuff move westward while the larger mid-level shield moves northeast.  Love that meso-scale stuff.

The seeder feeder phenomenon is so cool, upper level clouds being seeded by lower level ocean salt nuclei
