That’s why I never get when people put down refreshers on top of snowpacks.  The entire pack now looks fresh, it could’ve all fallen today.  There’s none of that “old snow” look and the ambiance is extremely wintry.  Bring on the light, long duration events... so much winter vibe during those.

2015...Mar 2018 was pretty good but that double digit pack lasted maybe 2 weeks before dipping back under double digits. Peak depth was over 2 feet though in that one. Jan 2018 was similar...we achieved double digit pack on 1/4 and prob lost it around mid month with that obscene cutter.

Weve had double digit pack since 2/1 now this season. So I think you’d have to go back to 2015 to get it longer.

This one looks to be around another week I would imagine.

No Georgie tonight?  Or James?

I decided yesterday that I’m going to be checking out of this winter as long range guidance indicates the polar vortex is headed to the North Pole, and as long as that’s there I don’t expect another inch of snow this winter. I have been following this storm though and will report that I am at 4 inches or so, with what looks to be another inch or two as the final band of snow moves out, so it looks like I will end up at about 5-6 inches.

I was wondering how the Cape was doing. I thought you would have more than that

Most of the afternoon was spent with temps in the 33-34 degree range with decent mixing, especially mid to lower cape. Similar situation to 2/1, snow falling throughout the day but little to show for it thanks to being on the wrong side of the coastal front.

Most Cape locations had around 3 inches from yesterday which was a decent surprise, so won’t take much to get into the 4-6 range.
