WinterWxLuvr
I’d love to see “the cities” get plenty of snow. If I could make that happen, I would. But I gotta be honest. When I look at a model run, my first look ain’t the cities. Lol

All I ask for is a solid radar for a few hours LOL. I’m so sick of sitting here waiting for 30 minutes for a blob of precip coming from Mount Jackson that might give me moderate precip for 5 minutes

And usually get in a really good secondary band

osfan24
Looks like 2-4/3-6 for most, depending on location, before a flip to sleet.

Stormfly
24/10 Sooo crisp out there. Finally a day comes to close where it feels like a proper start to a snowstorm. Did not see the temp in the car go above 30F all day. Of course the colder the better. PDII was 13F Sunday AM. Thunder woke me up at the crack of dawn. I love thundersnow at night. nj2va
23z HRRR has precip getting to DC between 4-5a. Here’s the sounding at 8a which is super close...and check out the lift in the DGZ! Sleet line looks to dissect/bounce around DC mid morning. Should be a fun few hours.

paxpatriot
Starting to wonder when LWX starts lowering totals for us NW folks. 8-12 inches is not looking particularly good for a forecast right now. Given what the models were showing just 12 hours ago, this is a 6 inches or bust storm up here.
