It drove a primary up almost into Ohio 3 days ago. It showed--BY FAR--the best solution last night. On Monday it's not in its range. You see, THIS is a terrible post. ErinInTheSky
Y'all. This band right now setting up from Germantown to NW of Baltimore is sick. Get ready for it.
EHoffman
Just now, Eskimo Joe said: The roads with a few inches of sleet are definitely worse than any of the other snow events we've had this year. The cold air last night has helped the precipitation bond more efficiently to the road surfaces. Southbound I-270 from the Frederick County line to about the ICC has a lot of wrecks. I've been hearing a lot of sirens even in DC this morning; I live near a fire station so not super unusual but definitely more than most mornings. ErinInTheSky
Ok the band started with a thump of heavy snow and now it's the heaviest sleet I've seen int his entire event. It looks like a thunderstorm outside.

NovaWahoo
26/25. Sleet. I've yet to see a single snowflake - fatty, rimed, or otherwise. Though I believe we had about a 1/2" fall before 5:30 am.

The Ole Bucket
It sucks that so many are missing out on big snows.. but the silver lining is that this sleet event is pretty unique and it's probably cutting down ice totals.
aldie 22
Just sleeting away over here in Sykesville with an occasional brave bad ass flake that says FU warm nose!! Now some bigger more frequent flakes mixing in.

osfan24
There is no doubt the warm layer hurt me, but the crab claw has gotten me big-time here. There's been a big band northwest of me all morning and then some stuff seemingly east of me. I'm just not getting any heavier returns. It looks like this last batch coming up can't avoid me.
