No, it’s pouring snow in Union bridge. There’s three inches on the ground in an arc from near where deck is staying over to northern Hoff. They are gonna kill it.

just got quiet here. Either flipped to snow or it’s raining.

Yes, Union Bridge -- like 90 minutes from DC, even now in Covid-era traffic,  in what is really an entirely different climate. I don't think most people in the metro area are going to be upset or shocked if they get snow.  A true forum divider is when DC is raining and Clarksburg or Columbia get 10 inches.

It is mostly rain further up!!!!  Crazy stuff!!

I'm going to hope to stay under precip for as long as possible now. If this just goes dry fast, then the sleet bomb ice storm will have been for naught. 3+" of sleet will be really fun. Roads are already caved here. It'll look like snow but it'll stay around forever, esp after the freezing rain gets to it.

Roads, walkways all caved quickly here as expected.

We have security cams with mics which make great sleet detectors LOL.  So far so good but it's not encouraging from what I'm seeing on this board.

The SN rates now are the best since the Dec 16 storm.  But if we get 3-4" and it turns to sleet or ZR I'm not going to be happy about it.  At that point I'd wish it would just blow over and the sun come out!  FFS!
