Still nothing falling in the Cedar Bluff area of Knox.  We have a steady north east wind coming down the valley.  This is usually a good thing.

Congrats on your amazing week of winter down there! I have family in Clarksville, so I have been paying attention to what's going on pretty closely. Per webcams, they are getting dumped on there NW of Nashville.

I cannot remember the last time interstate 40 was basically snow covered from Memphis to probably 20ish miles east of Nashville. Maybe around 150 miles or something?

Still 1" per hour here. The flakes aren't huge but they're heavy

Agree..looks like it's gonna be a slush fest here (heavy sleet/33). Hard system for the southern valley to watch and be so close.

I'd say right now it's covered from Rockwood to Memphis.

I've switched to 100% sleet now. Temp 33, dewpoint still sitting at 29.

We were sleet for a bit before the heavy stuff came in and changed it to all snow so hopefully that'll happen in the valley

I'd say right now it's covered from Rockwood to Memphis. 

Cannot tell by the cameras in Rockwood but the TDOT map has sections of red around that area.

So far, it's dry snow with temps in the upper 20s. Maybe the power grid here into Kentucky will get a break.

I live right next to I40 and it's red by my house. I'll go attempt to take pics real quick. Wish me luck

I can confirm that it is 80/20 snow right now in West Knox

I walked onto i40 for this pic lol. It's actually a fairly powdery dry snow compared to last Sundays
