The HRRR earlier had some 3-4 in totals around Huntsville but it wasn't reflected in their actual forecast. 

The latest run basically lines heavy snow up over the areas MRX/OHX has warned.

Been pouring the snow here just east of Nashville for close to an hour now.  Hopefully we’ll get under some of those returns coming in from the SW as well.

Looks like Huntsville fell from 38 to 30 with the wetbulbing then heavy snow.

There was a heavy band of snow extending from Florence, AL, to Fayetteville, TN, and 3.8 inches predicted here in southern Lincoln County. I dunno, maybe at present rates, but it would have to be a long event. Rain allegedly will move in later tonight. Allegedly.

Looks like that area of heavy sleet is about at Sweetwater making its way slowly up the valley.  Dry air

Snow started just to my SW per a friend who lives in Caryville. Should be soon here.

You can see on the 01z HRRR it pivots the heavy rates over Huntsville, up the Plateau/Valley..accum maps don't account for sleet, so even if it says nothing, could still be dealing with a mess in the valley with those type rates...plateau counties would get hammered. Think the model is having a hard time with the depiction, due to the column bordering right at 32

I’m down to 36 with the same conditions. Nothing liquid is falling anymore. Just sleet with the occasional wet flake.
