1.1” at ORD as of 6AM.

.
A record that will be tied tomorrow at ORD is consecutive days with measurable snow, set in Feb 2018. Today makes the 8th consecutive day and tomorrow will make 9. If Wednesday can manage to get measurable snow, a new record will be set. It's too bad there was no measurable snow on Feb 7th, because otherwise would've blown by the 2018 record.

The record for days with measurable snow in February is 15, set in 1962. So far this month there's been 11 days with measurable snow at ORD, so there's a good chance to at least tie that record.

Looks like the total at DFW was 4", which ends its 6-year 4"+ snowstorm drought. This is also the largest "cold" snowstorm DFW has ever seen, with temps in the teens the entire time.

The most impressive part is most of that fell in a 2 hour window.

And then there's Wednesday, lol. 06z is very close to :weenie::weenie::weenie::weenie::weenie: worthy with over 1" of QPF.
