300 square feet
Just had a moderate burst that mixed in some sleet and even a few flakes, but otherwise a very steady freezing rain for several hours here in Petworth. Streets are starting to turn white

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
My road is finally starting to ice up. The higher proportion of sleet in the mix the last hour or so has allowed a tiny base of ice to build up on it. It’s about an hour or two away from being really treacherous driving if this keeps up. Bob Chill
Starting to get impressive out there. Icicles have connected with the ground under my wifes car. My truck sits much higher but even those icicles are trying to connect. Street is crust covered. Not bad for daytime zr/sleet in mid Feb

In a bit of a Lull now but I can see things getting bad pretty rapidly unless that back edge comes through within an hour or so.In a bit of a Loel now but I can see things getting bad pretty rapidly unless that back edge comes through within an hour or so. notvirga!
Looking at the radar it appears this is going to keep going for a good while yet least with light freezing rain or drizzle—even up here in Baltimore County. Not a lot of accretion here but light freezing rain and a tiny bit of sleet today. Rain and drizzle has been consistent. 27 degrees

mattie g
Small snow grains mixed in with sleet in Burke at 29°. Pretty decent crust on the ground (like a boulé crust, more so than a Wonder bread crust) and casing of ice on elevated surfaces and cars. Streets are slushy.
