diatae
Sleet transitioning to sleety sleet. I did have a few flurries mixing in, but a neighbor drove by and they blew away. So there's that. 32/32 La Plata 2

osfan24
I-70 seemed to be the literal traintracks the beefy part of the storm followed. Definitely a good amount of yellows on radar right around there last night. Curious what some of the far nothern folks ended up with that had the warning. Seemed like the heaviest ended up just south of them.

Nice thing is this stuff is going to stick around for a while. And more concrete is coming. Yeah, my location paid off. Its amazing the difference between here and in town. The stephens city peeps probably awoke to bare ground and a few sleet pellets on the wiper blades. But, darn, I want to see some heavy snow rates.

snowmagnet
Fairfax Co and Prince William are getting basically zilch from this "event", other than about .2" of snow and sleet. I'm seeing all of these snow reports from less than an hour away --north, east and west. Just looked outside and counted a few pity flakes.

Scarlet Pimpernel
Very interesting map of the snowfall reports from @MN Transplant showed, and the corresponding NAM nest from @high risk. Definite cutoff as you get closer to the beltway. I'm just inside the beltway on the northwest side of DC (Chevy Chase area), and got ~0.5" snow/sleet.
