Just stopping in to give my areas report.

FINALLY Parkville(21234) cashes in on one! I measured about 5 inches on multiple cold surfaces- Grass, Car, Porch etc. Obviously substantially less on warmer pavement, but still enough to require shoveling.

Sorry to anyone who missed out on this one. Hopefully EVERYONE can cash in at some point!

still moderate snow. Not a breath of wind. Snow plastered to everything. Pretty sure looking at radar that we get warning level snow verified here in my hood without a warning  to break the drought which is cosmically hilarious.

appear to be breaking our bad luck run at lest for my hood with a whole bunch of unlikely luck —- namely, off top of my head, cashing in on a narrow band of good snow returns, started at 8:00 pm and fell during overnight , important because it was just under 32 here and needed all the help we could get to hold snow and not mix, and long fetch of snow with enough duration to make this work.

bizarre.

only pause is this was such a narrow win, frustrated that rest of our mid -Atlantic crew in forum didn’t cash in too.

yay!!! you officially got more than me :) Congrats, friend!

I was up in Emmitsburg and Thurmont earlier to get my son around 9-10pm and it was snowing pretty good for sure. I will say... rates and accumulation were notably better closer to where 15 meets 70 (Frederick) than it was at mount Saint Mary’s. Mount airy is where I saw the craziest snow. There were Numerous accidents, including a flipped over car on 70

I saw that one. Flipped over AND facing the wrong way. This was me the entire second half of my commute. I’m guessing 4-5 here.

Pity flakes and 33. Trying to recall the last time I had any appreciable precip falling with a temp below 32. 2019 I think. May happen Saturday but of course fall as... rain.

Hahaha we lose again, oh well.  We need to move to a real snow town, like Dallas!  They’re going to have snow and temps in the teens.

I am guessing places just north of me did pretty well.

As the crow flies im maybe 25-30 northwest of you. Southwestern Kent County.

looking outside there appears to be @ 3 +/- inches. Sleet was mixing last night @ 1030   But that northern tier modeling was pretty accurate apparently. I’ll take this as a win anytime.

Still,  overall, what a struggle this region continues to have.

GFS!!!! Ice fest for this weekend and quite snowy for Tuesday with a deepening storm off the coast. Going to be a wild 3-5 days.

If these last three storms are any indication, expect 1 inch of slop for the DC crew. These models have been torturous for us lately. Snow porn 48 hours out, then they kick you in the nads 24 hours out.
