Im in Nassau and we got between 2-3 inches in my area last night. Fluffy and easy to measure. No way there was a 4.5 and definitely not a 7 up in CT

NWS when it publishes a map of actual snowfall, usually filters out erroneous reports. These go into Watch, Warning, Advisory verification. Intensewind002
Final snow total here in Lindenhurst was 1.75" , nothing too bad plus it's all melted now, but it's always fun to go for a walk at 3 am in the light snow when there's no one else out. On a side note my street was plowed more during this event than the February 1st snowstorm lol

gravitylover
I forgot to post, I ended with 1.5" of pure fluff. Blow on it to clear the windshield kinda stuff. Temps were in the teens during the bulk of it and stayed in the low 20's for a while after. It added to the driveway bank height nicely

NorthShoreWx
Good catch in the rain gage for a change with no wind the other night. 2.1" snow melted down to 0.17" liquid which is a little over 12:1. Was great skiing on it yesterday.
