Holston_River_Rambler
Sorry, I should probably keep the info for the early week system in this thread. That being said, check out the 18z GEFS members
Holston_River_Rambler
I'll go ahead and say that most EPS members (at least as they depict snowfall), are a much more west, but n=maybe we can apply rule #5 here: Euro tends to hold energy back.

They have had a couple of AFD’s where they went with the SREF mods when that mod was the outler. I just said “MRX moved to the edge of their seat” when Holston posted it ITT to be silly. .
John1122
Glaze of ice on trees and cars now. Just mist blowing in basically. The fog did lift for now. 31.2 still.
John1122
Struggling to find what I am missing that has MRX now saying I'm going to be rain changing to snow on Monday and Monday night with no freezing rain. Is that even remotely close with any model sounding or output at this point?

John1122
Major ZR sounding Monday evening imby there at least. Love to see snow but that 4cish warm nose at 850 will be tough to overcome.
John1122
THE NAM is still at the poor part of its range but that was better than the Cutter it showed at 18z.

codgator
Like the how the models seem to be correcting east as we go. Must be catching the cold boundary or maybe the high holding better. Would like to see another 100 mile push east but trends are good for what I see.
BNAwx
Wouldn't be surprised to see OHX issue a WSW tomorrow if the rest of the 0z models come in favorably.
Shocker0
Been 28 here in Crossville for the last several hours. High today was supposed to be 39 with a low of 30, but it never got above 31 here. Everything is coated in a glaze of ice currently.

Yep , I have 24 currently and ditto on the daytime temp......we haven't been getting accurate highs on the forecast at all lately. Also have a coating of ice on everything and was wondering if freezing fog could partially be the culprit? It was really foggy all evening
