frostfern
1.5" here. Has the consistency of lake effect, but steady light snow rather than showers. Lost 3" on the total depth just due to compacting under the sun yesterday though.
Chicago WX
Turned out to be a not so bad event. Quality fluff action this overnight/morning and afternoon.
RCNYILWX
2.3" at my house as of 45 mins ago. Definite fluff again which helps when shoveling. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

WeatherMonger
Was surprised to wake up to a decent, for this winter, snowfall. Ended up close to 2" and still some fluffy light snow/flurries falling. Airport reported an official total of 1.5" at noon. Wasn't supposed to get much, so a bit of a bonus.
Hoosier
Have picked up a little under 3". Depth is really getting impressive now.
purduewx80
Can really see the lake enhancement nicely on the cam downtown now (time sensitive). Big dendrites. There's a sneaky layer of onshore flow 2000-3500' feet up helping out.

cyclone77
1.5" here. That last band ripped pretty nicely around midday.
madwx
About 1.5” here. Sun came out right after the snow stopped and it’s beautiful out despite the cold temps
frostfern
Heavier burst here now. I think there might be a Lake Huron connection going on. Elevated easterlies coming in.
Owensnow
Goose egg here trace amount in the face of the 1-3 forecasted. models did terrible 2 inches snow cover on the ground total for the last week.
SchaumburgStormer
Fresh powder to add to the pack. 19” now, and sunny blue skies. Full blown tundra
frostfern
Snowing pretty good under the back edge. Might add a little more if the lake band makes it inland with the arctic front.
tuanis
Sun emerged and the cloud deck cleared quickly behind the last band. Almost felt like a MCS clearing the area, except it was like 6 degrees and there’s a foot and a half of snow on the ground.

It really did, could’ve sworn it was 10 degrees colder and just a much crisper feel to the air once the sun came out vs. a few hours earlier

WeatherMonger
This latest snowfall was 50:1 ratios here per the official recording. Might be the best ratioed snowfall I have knowingly experienced. Guess it helps explain the over performance as well.
michsnowfreak
Finish with 1.5" of snow here, bit of drifting with it too. The snowpack keeps staying fresh and sparkly, that's for sure. DTW also 1.5". Another general 1-3" in SE MI.

Crazy difference from the Michigan side. Snow depth in the Detroit area ranges from 5-9" currently. I have about 6" on the ground after settling/compacting. You should do well this week. dmc76
another 2-3” event. This was like I believe the 16th 2-3” type event. 3.0” last night. Depth around 8”.
