Yup there is is a band traversing from about Danbury up over to Tolland.  See if folks can score 1-3" under it.  Just started here in Milford on the north east edge of that.

Will and Scooter, models, etc said it would look like poop this am and hopefully blossom as it goes east... If you're along and north of the pike it's far too early to tgrow in the towel, especially when it's the HRRR

2-5"....not seeing much warning snowfall potential. Maybe a narrow stripe can get 6 or 7 if everything breaks right in the next 8 hours. If that stuff south of LI could link up with the northern bands, then it would get exciting, but it seems they don't do that until offshore. But we watch...

yeap we are all observing that it looks like big elephant dung, might get better.
