Lol .. not you no. I didn’t mean you. The guilty know who they are. I was bullish on 4-8” statewide based on exactly what you just stated.  If one looked past snow maps and looked at fronto and forcing one could see that being signaled the last couple days. I thought the NAM (while having some high outputs) and the HREF mean showed the overall idea the best. These coastals almost always have that . I just think overall it was a pretty poor performance by the globals as a whole. I’m enjoying the beer out of this today!

Don't forget a horrific performance from the HRRR.

Are you still up on Winter Hill? Not more than a couple of miles as the crow flies from me.

No I’m in Holliston. I frequently report from winter hill but not right now. We’ve been getting on the northern fringe of that death band here at times but I’m guessing someone like 5-10 miles southeast has 5-6” by now. Prob near Walpole and Medway.

IMBY syndrome. The NAM and HREF are not going be correct at all. Under the band it will likely overperform forecast amounts, but to the north those models are going to end up dumpster fires. Maybe you could argue the 12z NAM got a clue on the northern edge, but HREF was still 6-8" for SE NH at 00z.

SE CT has gotten skunked on precip too

6-8” in parts of SE NH will verify. Widespread? Probably not. But def on a localized basis. Hampton up to Portsmouth seems a strong bet for at least 6”

Seeing first mod obs in the area now. Definitely picked up in past hr.
