Dunkman
That big bright band over Guilford is like 90% sleet. On the plus side it’s put a nice icy coating on things if we can get some snow.

Small blotches of snow beginning to accumulate on the asphalt. Super disappointing up this way. Pretty much all rain. Temp went from 39 to 35 but radar is lightening up and will really need 2nd batch to over perform. Hopefully the frontogenesis that has been talked about will come to fruition. No longer having good feelings about this. Crazy to me because to my south and west it really over achieved. Sat under heavy yellows for easily 30 min plus and couldn’t flip. kvegas-wx
Woke up and checked the cams in Stuart. An underwhelming inch or so? Radar right at midnight looked quite promising but the results didnt align, so far. Back to sleep!

Buddy1987
Laughable storm up this way. Stayed stuck at 34 for majority of storm. 4-8” turned into 1-1.5”. Roads simply wet. Not a single model from what I saw had me under 3”. Terrible guidance on this one. Congrats to the south. You guys deserved it and HRRR scored a big coup down that way. 1
Blue_Ridge_Escarpment
4.5-5.0 on the deck. Have another band to push through in the next hour that may add to that. All in all, solid storm.
Jessy89
Not a disappointment at all finished with 4-4.5 in Maggie valley. So definitely not a bust. Back at home saw 3-3.5 in MBY in liberty. So yeah I could of stayed home for this one but I still got my snow so it’s a win!.
